This is from Jihad Watch.

What in the Hell is Obama thinking?

How many of these missiles will be used against American or Israeli troops?

The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency said that ‘the U.S. State Department agreed to sell Iraq five thousand Hellfire missiles to help it in the war against Jihadists.’” What’s that you say, US Defense Security Cooperation Agency? “Jihadists”? Don’t you know that CIA director John Brennan has declared that jihad is a positive concept, and that the Obama Administration has deleted all references to jihad from counter-terror training manuals? In other words, the Obama Administration policy is that jihad is a positive thing, and that Islamic jihad terrorists are not really jihadists at all. So the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency’s word choice here is extremely poor, and inconsistent with Administration policy. Someone in the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency is heading for a reprimand. Ibrahim Hooper, call your office!

“URGENT: US sells 5,000 missiles to Iraq in $700 million USD weapons deal,” by Abdelhak Mamoun, Iraqi News, July 30, 2014 (thanks to Kenneth):

(IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday the United States announced the sale of 5,000 missiles to Iraq as part of a weapons deal valued at $700 million dollars while indicating that 180 Lockhead Martin “Hellfire” missiles have already been transferred this year and 360 more “Hellfire” missiles will be delivered in August.

The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency said that “the U.S. State Department agreed to sell Iraq five thousand Hellfire missiles to help it in the war against Jihadists,” indicating that “Iraq will use these missiles to increase the capacity of its security apparatus in field operations carried out by now. “

The U.S. Defense Department said that “Washington handed over to Baghdad 180 Hellfire missile in this year and 360 more will be delivered next August.”

This is the largest recent missile deal between the two countries, which include 5 thousand missiles for use by jet planes, miscellaneous equipment, spare parts and training courses offered by the American forces to the Iraqi security services.

U.S. forces have used Hellfire missiles with drones to hunt down suspected members of al-Qaeda in Pakistan, Yemen and elsewhere.
